I still remember when i was at the first cmj squeeze show in the city. and J live came on and did his first song. and as the music stopped i asked the kid next to me “yo is that J-live” lol
it felt like every single person in the audience in front of us turned around and looked at me at the same time like “did he just say that? haha mad awkward. it was like one of those scenes in a movie.
The guy def does good music though and after all these years is still one of the most popular underground mcs around.
